Set in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy, a pirate ship plunders a cursed mirror holding the ghost of a young girl.
You play as the ghost, it’s your mission to terrify the crew before it’s too late!

This game was created as a group project proposal for the last year of Digital Arts and Entertainment. The project got accepted and now its in production to become a full game. It is a stealth-action scaring game where you roam around the ship trying to scare everyone off.
I worked with Kálmán Pajcsics on the prototype of the game. I took on more the visual, game-feel and UI/UX side of the project.

Originally I came up with the idea for a paper prototype for one of our previous classes where I was looking for a stealth-action scaring game idea. Here you can see one of the first iterations of the game.

Later with the help of Kálmán we made into a playable prototype in a week. On the picture on of the later concepts can be seen from that period.

As we finished the game I created a new concept for how the ships rooms could be placed around and what variations of pirates could exist in this environment.

The pirates designs for the game were based on the designs from The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, I wanted to give them personality by how they looked and what their work was.
For the prototype the pirates current states are clearly indicated by the color and pose they are in as well as for the player.
